Gill Children’s Services is a funding source of last resort that provides a safety net for Tarrant County Children whose medical, dental, physical, social, psychological and educational needs have not been met by other community resources.
Children turn to Gill with a variety of needs. Gill Children’s Services provides kids with medications, hearing aids, eyeglasses, root canals, summer school tuition assistance, therapy, and much more. Without these critical services, a child’s physical development, mental health, and educational progress can be adversely effected.
Gill Children’s Services is a last resort agency, meaning that both the family’s and the community’s resources must be exhausted. When a child is referred to Gill by a school nurse, social worker, or physician, we work closely with the family to find solutions. In some cases, Gill is able to refer the family to a suitable organization or agency to fill the child’s need. When no other solution can be found, Gill takes action.
The demand for our services is greater each day. As our community grows, we are determined to ensure that the critical needs of children in Tarrant County still be met. We partner with physicians, dentists, and other service providers to keep costs manageable, ensuring precious resources go further.
Through the help of a caring community, Gill Children’s Services is able to provide care and assistance to the children who need it most.
